Bosch BMI088 High-performance Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) are specifically designed for drone and robotics applications. The 6-axis sensor combines a 16-bit triaxial gyroscope and a 16 bit triaxial accelerometer in a miniature 3 x 4.5 x 0.95mm³ LGA package. The unit uses automotive-proven gyroscope technology in a new low-TCO accelerometer design. The automotive-proven gyroscope of the BMI088 has an unmatched bias stability of less than 2°/h and a low temperature coefficient of offset (TCO) below 15mdps/K. Other features include a low TCO of 0.2mg/K and low spectral noise of only 230μg/√Hz in the widest measurement range of ± 24g. The BMI088 improves the flying and navigation experiences by making accurate steering easier even in naturally high-vibration environments.
